The Research Project

This grant is funded by the Council on Library and Information Resources [CLIR] with support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation

Timeline: December 2006 - June 2007

During the proposed 6-month period of the planning grant, the EthicShare project is exploring the development of a virtual community site for the field of Bioethics/Practical Ethics. Tthe University of Minnesota's Center for Bioethics and the University of Minnesota Libraries are leading the project in partnership with four other institutions:

• Georgetown University's Kennedy Institute of Ethics
• Indiana University/Purdue University - Indianapolis' Center for Bioethics
• Indiana University - Bloomington's Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions
• University of Virginia's Institute for Practical Ethics and Public Life)
